A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with sunburst-style carved backrest and gold lion sculptures at the arms, draped in leopard-print cushions. The seated man wears an orange-red dhoti, a gold crown-like headpiece, a yellow and red marigold garland, and gold bangles, and holds a red-covered book or cloth bundle. To the left, a man in a teal-green shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaste, and a bare-chested man with long hair and beaded necklaces stands behind. Blurred figures in purple and white and a colourful illuminated backdrop complete the scene. The seated figure has distinctive long hair, a ceremonial crown and orange clothing, consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) appearance, and the scene shows devotees offering reverence at a throne.2017-09-21Photograph of a ceremonial scene indoors at a gilded throne dais. A seated figure in a red-brown dhoti and shawl, wearing a heavy gold necklace and a long red and white flower garland, smiles and rests a hand on the gold armrest, with bangles on the wrist and a bindi on the forehead. Beside the seat, a priest in an orange-red turban, bare-chested with an orange-gold dhoti and rudraksha beads, holds a silver lamp with a burning flame toward a bowl set on the dais. Behind them stand a gold lion figure, a silver trident, an ornate gold-embroidered parasol, and a large backdrop of yellow and orange marigold garlands.2015-07-06December 20 20122012-12-20A seated man in a reddish-brown robe sits on an ornate throne upholstered in deep red velvet with gold carved trim. He wears a tall gold crown with a fan-like finial, a long multi-strand gold necklace, and a large garland of pink and white flowers across his chest. A silver staff with a twisted shaft rests beside him, and gold-rimmed brass lamps and a silver canopy stand at the right. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears a gold crown, a rudraksha-style beaded armband and a pink garland, and sits on a throne, which together give the appearance of the ceremonial presentation associated with the page. A white snake-headed staff stands beside him on a small stand, and a small framed portrait sits on the stand. Gold lion sculptures flank the throne. A man in distinctive saffron turban and robes with a crescent on the turban is visible; this appearance matches the Swamiji cues of saffron robes and ornate turban on a throne, so Swamiji (probable) is noted here.2017-09-01September 04 20162016-09-04February 06 20132013-02-06September 04 20162016-09-04 +2 copiesA seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits on a gilded throne with red cushions and a tiger-striped cloth draped over the seat. He wears a long rudraksha mala, gold necklaces and gold bangles, gesturing with both hands as he smiles.
