Many shaven-headed men in white dhotis and shawls sit on orange-red mats with brass lamps and vessels before them. Several wear rudraksha malas and white tripundra markings on their foreheads. In the lower right foreground, a man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and folded palms sits with a book open before him, and a man in orange with a grey beard sits lower left, both appearing to take part in the ritual. Their faces show concentration. The mood is devotional and orderly.2010-10-19November 12 20102010-11-12May 26 20172017-05-26A large hall filled with seated devotees in white dhotis and shawls, many with red-and-white striped borders, sitting in rows on mats. Several men wear rudraksha malas and forehead markings, and a few wear white shirts with lanyards. In the front left a man with long hair and a gold-bordered yellow-and-white shawl sits near brass pooja items and a small plate. Behind them the hall extends toward a stage with red draping and warm lighting. No individual is clearly identifiable as a specific figure from appearance alone.2010-12-27
