A roadside scene beside a grassy verge lined with palm trees and tall trees under a pale sky. A group of about twenty people in white clothing and orange-red headwear and red-orange sashes stands and moves along the edge of a paved path, some bending toward the ground near a small drainage channel. Several people carry red bags, and a pink umbrella is raised among them. Parked coaches and red buses stand in the background, and a small wooden frame sits at the right edge.

Several standing figures in white and orange move among the seated crowd. Parked buses and vans line the background, and a large woven basket hangs at the upper left. Many participants wear white dhotis, kurtas and sarees, while others wear saffron-orange garments. Several carry tall red-orange flags on poles, and colourful striped umbrellas are raised above the crowd. Drummers and musicians with hand drums walk in the middle of the group. A man in a blue shirt and dark trousers walks on the right beside a man in a light checked lungi. A garden hose lies across the lower right foreground. The scene appears to be a flag-hoisting or deity procession during a festival.

A procession of devotees walks along a sandy-orange stone path flanked by dense green trees, at what appears to be an ancient temple site. Leading the group, a figure in an orange-red dhoti and orange shawl with a red garland and beaded necklaces walks beneath a large orange ceremonial parasol. Behind them, many devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas carry long blue-tipped staffs and wear orange-red headcloths and sashes. Several men in orange robes and a few Cambodian men in khaki and blue work shirts walk alongside. A blue umbrella is visible further back, and the group moves through a crowd of onlookers.
