Photograph of a ritual exchange on a cruise-ship style hall. A figure with long swept-back dark hair, a gold leopard-print headpiece, a rudraksha-style bead mala with green beads, a gold armlet, a rust-orange shawl and leopard-print wrap, places a hand on the forehead of a man in a white kurta with a rust-red shawl who raises his palm. Behind them, devotees in white and red shawls stand and sit near striped curtains, a bright window and a decorated stand. A bald man in white robes with a red-orange shawl sits with palms raised toward a long-haired man in a leopard-print headband and leopard-print waist cloth, orange-brown garment and green-beaded rudraksha-style mala with gold armlets. The long-haired man extends his right hand toward the forehead of the seated man. Behind them, several men in white dress with orange-red shawls stand or sit, and a white-robed figure stands at right beside a framed picture. Heavy striped curtains and a bright light source fill the left background, with a white fur-like cloth in the lower left.2012-12-15 +1 copiesDecember 14 20122012-12-14 +1 copiesAugust 02 20142014-08-02January 11 20132013-01-11Photograph of a ritual or satsang setting indoors. A man in white kurta with an orange-red shawl stands at left with hands raised in a gesture, facing a seated figure at right who wears orange cloth, a gold-patterned skirt, a gold armband, a green bead garland and a gold headpiece, with bare upper body and dark hair. Behind them seated and standing devotees wear white with orange-red shawls. A cameraman on a tripod films beside a gold-framed panel and a flower-decorated altar with an ornate golden backdrop. Both have eyes closed or half-closed in a blessing moment. Behind them, white-clad devotees in red scarves sit in a red-carpeted hall with a silver ceremonial staff in the foreground. The bearded-free setting suggests a darshan or blessing. The robed figure displays distinctive adornments and hair, so the a person label applies to this in-person candidate, who is blessing the devotee.2014-08-02
