A photograph taken from the back of a large hall where a seated audience of many people, mostly facing a raised stage, listens to a talk. Many attendees sit on the floor in white, orange and red clothing, with some wearing saffron robes. On the stage, a central seated figure in orange and red garments sits before a gold-framed backdrop showing a multi-armed deity murti; red drapes and a few ceremonial oil lamps frame the stage. Two large screens on either side show a close-up of a speaker in orange clothing with a lamp beside him. Cameras on tripods film the event.2016-09-11 +1 copiesAugust 21 20112011-08-21April 01 20172017-04-01Rear view of a large seated audience facing a stage in an indoor hall with white tiled floors and red drapes. Most attendees wear white clothes and sit on striped mats or black plastic chairs, many with their backs to the camera, and a few men in the foreground are bald or have short hair. On the stage a figure in white sits on a red-and-gold throne-like seat beneath a thatched canopy, flanked by a decorated pillar and a garlanded arrangement; a camera on a tripod is set up at the side. Two screens display images, and framed portraits hang on the right wall. The audience is numerous but mostly partly visible, and no clear appearance-based identification of the seated figure is made.2011-08-23July 11 20142014-07-11
