A photograph of a seated man in a maroon and gold turban with a red bindi, wearing a long red and yellow flower garland, gold ceremonial necklaces, a gold-trimmed beige shawl and maroon garment, and gold bangles. He smiles with eyes lowered. A younger man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala is standing at right, raising his palm toward him. Behind them is a large printed portrait, and a white air conditioner is on the wall. The seated man has distinctive ceremonial adornments and turban, and appearance cues are consistent with a person presence, seated in a ritual setting with garlands and offerings.2013-11-02A photograph of a seated man in saffron-red robes with white and red garlands and a white tilak on his forehead, smiling as he places his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a white kurta and dark-rimmed glasses. The kneeling man has his other hand resting on the first man's arm. A gold kalasha-style vessel and a silver staff stand nearby, with an ornate golden throne in the background. A woman in the lower right looks on, and a framed painting hangs on the wall.2014-05-13A photograph of a seated figure in a rust-red turban with a gold trim, gold earrings and layered gold necklaces, wearing a gold-bordered cream shawl over a maroon garment, embracing a man from behind. The man wears a white shirt and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, with a gold bracelet on his wrist. Behind them is a large gilded throne-back with ornate carved gold and a red patterned cushion, and a large printed portrait of a man with a red and gold garment. The turbaned figure smiles broadly as the embrace is shared. The seated figure sits before a gold ornate throne-like chair against a deep red drape. A woman with a mala and a photographer appear at the right edge. Two physical people are clearly prominent; the blessing gesture is a head-touching abhishekam-style blessing.2015-10-25A photograph inside a temple-style hall with gold-toned carved pillars. A person in an orange-red turban, orange-and-gold saffron garment, layered red, pink and purple flower garlands, a gold armlet and bangles sits on a red cushion, smiling and extending a hand. Before them a man in a cream shirt kneels with his hands cupped around a red fruit. A woman in a white top and a brown shawl with a dark bead necklace stands behind, and other devotees in maroon and saffron clothing are visible in the background. A gold ceremonial vessel sits near the seated figure. Whether the seated figure is a person cannot be determined from appearance alone; the figure is presented as a devotee-facing sannyasi giving blessing.2015-08-09A seated man in a rust-red turban with a jewelled brooch, rust-red robe, white and multicoloured garland, gold armbands and bangles smiles and extends a hand to a kneeling devotee in a white shirt and white dhoti, who holds up cupped hands. The seated man sits on a red zebra-striped cushioned throne against an ornate gold throne back, with a gold lion-head ornament beside him. Behind them, a woman in an orange sari and a rudraksha mala stands among garlands and hanging fabrics. Partially visible at left, a shaved-headed man with a white tilak sits near a gold ritual vessel. The setting suggests a darshan-style ceremony with garlanded offerings and gold decor.2014-06-12April 24 20152015-04-24May 02 20142014-05-02June 03 20142014-06-03
