A street procession moves along a village road lined with low buildings and trees. Men in white dhotis and shirts, some bare-chested or in plaid lungis, walk in a long line. A white cloth canopy is held aloft over the group, and a man near the front holds up a raised arm. A man in an orange shirt in the foreground and another in a purple striped shirt walk at the front. A brass pot is carried near the middle, and a man wears a garland of pink flowers. Shrine-like ornate architecture and a yellow signboard appear at the right edge. No individual is identifiable as a person from the visible cues.

A street scene in a town with a roadside shop and a pink multi-storey building behind, a parked white van and utility poles. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange-red robe and a garland of beads, smiling and extending his hands toward a man in a white shirt and white dhoti. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis, several uniformed police officers in khaki, and a man in orange with a shaved head and white tilak stand close together. One police officer on the right raises a hand. The orange-robed central figure matches the appearance cues for Swamiji, with long hair and saffron clothing, and the page indicates his presence, so the appearance-based label applies, though the face is not used for identification.

A dense crowd of men gathers outdoors along a street lined with palm trees and a tiled-roof building, a yellow van at right. Most wear white dhotis and shirts, others wear light blue, pink or checked shirts. Two shaved-headed young men in front wear saffron-orange cloths and white upper garments, one with a tilak marking on his forehead and a beaded necklace. Men in the foreground push forward and raise hands. A man in a white shirt stands at right. Several people on a raised platform or wall are visible at top left. No readable text is visible in the scene.

A photograph of a seated outdoor audience on blue and red plastic chairs at a street-side gathering. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti wears a yellow shawl with a red border, hands clasped in his lap. Beside him a man in a white shirt and jeans sits with hands together, another in a grey shirt and brown trousers sits with hands clasped, and a man in a blue checked shirt and white dhoti gestures to one side. Several more men in white shirts and dhotis sit behind them, and red and yellow barriers and potted plants line the background. No a person candidate is visibly identifiable, so the figures are described by role and clothing only.

Outdoor street crowd in a busy Indian town during a procession, viewed from above. Dense rows of devotees, mostly women in sarees in purple, pink, orange, yellow, white and green, stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. Some carry small children on their hips. Men in white shirts and dhotis and a man in a pink shirt stand among them. Parked white and red cars, motorbikes and a yellow-roofed roadside stall line the road behind. Shop signs and an overhead car roof fill the background.

A dense street procession in a South Indian town lined with palm trees and bamboo poles. Many men in white shirts and white dhotis press forward, one in the foreground raising a hand, another playing a clarinet-like wind instrument (nadaswaram). A decorated chariot with a red canopy and orange-draped figure is visible in the background, carried through the crowd. Some men wear rudraksha or beaded necklaces, and a woman in a pink sari and an older woman in an orange sari stand among the crowd. Low buildings, banners and distant hills frame the scene.

Outdoor photograph of a large crowd of men and some women standing close together under trees on a street. Most men wear white shirts or light checked and striped shirts, and several have moustaches. A woman in the lower left wears a red bindi and a dark top. An older bearded man with white hair stands near the centre. Red flagpoles and a yellow roadside signboard appear in the background. No identifiable a person figure is visible in the frame.
