The figure wears a flowing sky-blue dhoti-style garment with a draped shawl, multiple strands of rudraksha mala beads and a red pendant, bracelets, and a red bindi on the forehead. Its right hand is raised in abhaya or greeting gesture, and the feet rest on a pedestal with ankle ornaments. The statue is a depiction, not a living person, and its face resembles a portrait-style sculpture; the appearance cues of long hair, rudraksha malas and ornate ceremonial dress are present, so this is a probable depiction of Swamiji shown as a statue.2012-05-11November 26 20122012-11-26A large life-size statue stands in a gilded arched niche against a turquoise sequined curtain. The figure has a golden-brown painted face, long dark hair, and wears a mustard-gold turban with a jewelled crest, a red bindi, gold chandelier earrings, layered pearl and ruby necklaces, rudraksha bracelets, and a rudraksha belt over a flowing mustard-gold garment. The right hand is raised in a blessing gesture and the left arm hangs at the side. Gilded carved frames surround the figure. This is a statue, not a living person, and the figure's identity is not established by visible text.2012-05-06August 03 20132013-08-03November 25 20122012-11-25Photo 11738727Photo 11736831August 13 20122012-08-13August 14 20122012-08-14A metallic statue of a standing male figure with long, dark, swept-back hair, a red bindi on the forehead, and a raised right hand in a blessing gesture.
