In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe and a matching orange turban wears a long garland of white and pink flowers with green and red blooms. Their appearance, with long hair and the saffron robe, is consistent with the sannyasi candidate, though this is uncertain. Beside them a bare-chested young man in a brown wrap and an older man in a teal checked lungi stand with hands folded. Men in white dhotis and shirts surround them, and a camera operator is visible at the right edge. The composition is cluttered and the saffron figure's identity is not clear from the image.2007-08-17Crowded indoor photo in a plain cream-walled hall with a maroon curtain and wooden doors at the back. Dense crowd of devotees in white dhotis and white shirts, many with orange or saffron shawls and rudraksha malas. Several shaven-headed priests in orange-saffron robes and beads stand at the rear near a silver-framed shrine area. A young shaven-headed boy in an orange cloth and beads stands at right with a vibhuti mark on his forehead. A white-haired man in white with an orange shawl stands at left, and a man in white with glasses and a striped shawl stands centre. Women in white saris with flowers in their hair are visible. Air conditioners and a small deity murti area are at the back.2014-06-29 +1 copiesMay 18 20122012-05-18April 29 20182018-04-29July 13 20092009-07-13A crowded outdoor temple-corridor scene in daylight. A central figure with long dark swept-back hair wears orange robes and a large gold necklace, hands folded in namaskar, with a crown-like ornament absent but orange cloth draped; a person candidate by long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklace. Around him, devotees in white and orange garments with orange shawls press forward, some with hands folded. Men in white shirts and dhotis and women in white saris with white flower garlands in their hair fill the space. A man in the foreground wears a yellow shirt and a red tilak. Stalls with red caps line the right side and a yellow-and-red banner hangs from the arched pillared gateway.2008-08-02
