A man seated in front of an orange cushioned seat, wearing an orange saffron shawl wrapped over his shoulders, presses his palms together in namaskar with a smile. He has a red vertical tilak on his forehead. Behind him stand a carved grey stone deity murti in a niche and green palm fronds with flowers, in a temple-like setting with pillars. Behind him stand brass vessels including a kalasha-style pot and a brass bowl with a pedestal, a purple cloth, and a white deity murti draped with a white beaded garland. The setting appears to be a temple or ritual space. The person is seated and not in a procession. The orange robe and seated posture, with no crown, long swept-back hair or rudraksha malas visible, do not clearly establish a specific identity.2010-07-04A photograph of a seated man in orange saffron robes with his palms pressed together in namaskar and eyes closed. Behind him are brass vessels, a brass bowl with flowers, a purple cloth, yellow and red marigold garlands, and a white figure in orange robes with a white bead necklace. A dove logo appears at the upper left. The man appears to be seated for a gathering. Appearance is not enough to establish identity, so the person is described by role as a seated devotee in orange robes.2010-07-04 +1 copiesA man seated on an ornate gilded throne framed by yellow marigold garlands and red and green floral decoration, palms pressed together in anjali namaskar gesture.
