Outdoor photo under an overcast, stormy sky at a construction site with a partly built multi-storey concrete building behind. A man in a long orange robe with a rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair stands on a concrete walkway at right, facing a bald man in white with an orange shawl. Around them stand several men in white kurtas and dhotis, some with yellow shawls. A green water tank and red-brick steps appear at right and centre-left.2010-06-13October 07 20062006-10-07Outdoors under a heavy grey overcast sky, a group walks along a grassy area and up a red-and-grey concrete stair with metal handrails. In front, a man in a saffron-orange robe and sandals, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala around his neck, touches his shoulder with one hand. Beside him, a bald man in white dhoti and shirt wears an orange shawl and carries an orange umbrella. Other devotees in white dhotis and yellow shawls follow, and a man in a white shirt and grey trousers holds a phone. A building with green roofing and trees stands in the background.2010-06-132002 - Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-01November 27 20062006-11-27November 27 20062006-11-27Outdoor photograph of a group walking across a dry, reddish-brown dirt plot with sparse grass and small plants. On the right, a figure with long dark hair wearing an orange-saffron robe and wrapped shawl walks with a long wooden walking stick; the figure's appearance has some candidate cues but is not distinctive enough to confirm. To the left, five people in white kurtas or dhotis with orange-saffron shawls walk together, one of them carrying a folded umbrella. Behind them stand a grey concrete block wall, bushes, palm and leafy trees, and buildings on a hillside under a hazy sky.2006-09-21Outdoor photograph of four men on an unfinished concrete slab surrounded by partly built concrete-block walls, with trees and open land behind. On the right, a man with long dark swept-back hair wears an orange saffron robe and orange shawl, standing barefoot. Beside him, a man in white ritual clothes with an orange shawl stands near a figure in white robes. On the left, a man in white shirt and white dhoti stands barefoot. A white hose lies across the slab. Appearance-based a person cues: long swept-back hair and saffron robe on the right figure.2006-11-23A photograph taken outdoors at dusk on a half-built concrete-block compound with bare ground, a coiled white hose and a wooden stake. Five men stand in conversation. On the far right, a figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala, long swept-back dark hair and a beard stands barefoot facing left; the cues are distinctive but appearance alone does not settle identity, so he is described by role as a sannyasi. Beside him, another man in white dhoti and white shirt holds a shoulder bag. On the left, men in white dhotis and saffron shawls stand near the edge, and a man in white kurta and dhoti stands at centre with a bamboo staff. Brick walls, scrub trees and a thatched hut lie behind them under a pale sky.2006-11-23November 27 20062006-11-27Outdoor photograph of a procession on a dirt path beside unfinished brick buildings and a hillside. A man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala walks at the centre, a dense gold necklace over his chest. An attendant in white dhoti and orange scarf holds a large orange umbrella over him. Saffron-robed sannyasis walk alongside, and an elderly man in white shirt and dhoti walks at the left edge. Several men and boys in ordinary clothes follow along the path, and a white multi-storey building with a small temple dome stands behind them.2012-09-24December 30 20092009-12-30
