July 06 20092009-07-06July 07 20092009-07-07February 02 20162016-02-02A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and matching turban with a red-and-white jewel sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, eyes closed, wearing layered rudraksha-style beaded malas and a gold ceremonial necklace. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and shawls with green-and-gold borders bend and touch his feet or place hands on his shoulder; a woman in an orange sari with gold border stands at right, and a man in white with a white headband bows at left. Deep red velvet drapes and gold lamp stands frame the scene. Appearance-based cues of a saffron robe, turban and ornate necklace on the throned figure are consistent with a person, though the appearance is not certain. The image is a photograph of a devotional darshan with devotees bowing at his feet.2015-11-22December 18 20102010-12-18August 02 20152015-08-02Outdoor ceremony under a pink-draped tent with a red carpet. A long-haired man in white and gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, wearing a gold necklace and red-cushioned seat, sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with purple and yellow flower garlands, raising one hand in blessing. Before him a young man in white kneels with palms pressed together. Women in white saris with gold borders stand with hands folded; a man in white kurta stands behind, and a man in orange shawl stands at the rear. A brass vessel sits near the throne. The man on the throne has distinctive long swept-back hair, gold ornaments and a gold-bordered wrap, which is a person appearance cue; the throne and ceremony are visible but identity is appearance-based.2009-01-01A photograph of a ceremonial scene on a raised dais before an ornate gold throne-style seat with red cushions and a floral backdrop of white flowers and red-orange lotus-like designs. A man in white garments and a cream turban, wearing garlands of red and orange flowers and a gold chain, sits on the throne smiling and holding flowers in his hands. A person in white clothes with a red-bordered cloth is prostrating face-down before him on the red cushioned platform, and a long-haired man in white with a rudraksha mala stands at the left bowing over a tray. A woman in white with a gold border stands at the right edge. The setting suggests a darshan or honouring ceremony.2009-06-22August 09 20092009-08-09July 11 20062006-07-11December 26 20062006-12-26A seated figure on an ornate gilded red throne wears orange and gold robes, layered beaded necklaces, bangles and a red forehead mark, with long dark hair; the figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues, with a saffron garment, ceremonial gold necklace and long swept hair. Before the throne, a man in white clothes and a rudraksha mala sits with palms pressed together in namaste, and two women in white kneel or sit with hands folded in prayer. In the foreground a woman in gold clothing and another woman with hair in a bun offer reverence beside gold trays holding flower petals, small metal bowls, kumkum and fruit. Behind is a red velvet drape and a patterned backdrop with gear motifs, with a vase of flowers.2012-09-08
