A bald priest in saffron-orange robes with a gold-coloured bangle stands at left, holding a brass plate over the linga with both hands. Behind them is a deity murti in red garments with gold crown and jewellery, draped with garlands of orange and yellow marigolds and red flowers. A white marble statue of a seated figure in a white turban sits at lower right on the basin edge, and a red curtain hangs at right. The priest appears to be performing abhishekam or puja. The figure in white marble is a statue, not a physical person.2011-03-03December 16 20092009-12-16December 16 20092009-12-16Night-time photograph of an annabhishegam ritual at a stone temple.
