Night photograph from a low angle of a large old stone temple with a tall, tiered shikhara spire of weathered sandstone and brick-red sections, its carved surfaces lit faintly. To the right, an open colonnaded pavilion with pillars is covered by a blue-and-white striped awning, with a warm lamp glowing beneath it. Strung overhead are electric cables, and in the lower right corner two people stand near the pavilion, one in white. The dark sky shows a bright light at the top edge.

Low-angle photograph of a tall, tiered stone temple tower shaped like a sikhara, with stepped layers of reddish and grey stone and carved pilasters on its lower body. A small golden finial with a bird-like figure crowns the summit against a pale evening sky. A thin power line runs diagonally across the frame. No people are visible.

Night photograph of a stone temple illuminated with strings of warm white fairy lights tracing its curved roof edges and the tall shikhara tower, with multicoloured lights on the lower walls. The sky is black; a few lamps glow near the base and small figures are barely visible at the lower left. This appears to be the Triyambakeshwar temple lit for the Kumbh festival period.

Night photograph of a tall stone temple tower with a carved, conical shikhara, strung with many vertical lines of warm yellow fairy lights running from its peak to its base. The lower walls are lit with pink-purple light, and a red flag or pennant flutters at the summit. A metal railing fence and a few green trees sit in the foreground beside a wet, reflective ground. A small white light is visible on a pole near the base. No people are visible in the frame.

Night view of a stone temple with a tall shikhara tower, outlined with strings of warm white and orange fairy lights hanging from its roofline and spires, and green-lit lower walls. At the lower left, a small group of people in white clothing stands near a covered area with red-orange flags. Strings of colourful bunting stretch at the upper right. Rain speckles the dark sky. This matches a Triyambakeshwar temple visit described on the page, though the temple itself is not identifiable from the image alone.

Low-angle photograph of a tall, tiered gopuram-style temple tower at dusk, its grey stone surfaces carved with rows of sculpted deity and figure niches and a pinkish-tinted upper section. Thatched palm-and-cloth awnings sit in the foreground at the base, and a tree and overhead wire frame the right and upper left. No people are visible in the scene, and no one is shown in a person's presence.

A photograph of an illuminated stone temple at night under a deep blue sky. The temple has tiered shikhara spires and is strung with rows of white and red fairy lights along its roofline and curved eaves, with a green-lit lower wall. A smaller lit shrine stands to the right, and a few people are visible at the railings near the entrance, along with a small lit lamp at the base. No identifiable a person figure is visible.

Night photograph of a towering, heavily carved stone gopuram (temple gateway tower) rising above a temple complex. Its tiers are covered with rows of sculpted deities and figures, and small white bull (nandi) figures sit on the rooftops in front. A pillared open hall with dim lamps stands to the left, a pink-washed wall and green metal shutters sit to the right, and a tall street lamp stands in the foreground. Two or three small figures in light clothing are at the lower left, partly visible. Yellow barriers are at the base of the gateway.
