A photograph of a seated man in an orange sleeveless top with a white flower garland with red blossoms, long dark hair swept back, and a red bindi on his forehead, smiling as he reaches to touch a baby lying on a red cushioned seat beside a gold-edged panel. A woman in a white sari with yellow shawl stands behind the baby, and men in white shirts with lanyards watch from behind, plus a small child at right. A woman in a white striped top and gold bangles at lower right touches the baby's feet. A tray of fruit and sweets lies at the bottom edge. A video camera operator is visible at upper left and a framed picture on the wall behind.

A naming ceremony in a temple-style hall. A man with long dreadlocks, a rust-brown robe and pink-and-white flower garland, smiling, holds an infant in a blue outfit and blue bib while a woman in a green-and-orange sari with a flower garland applies a mark to the baby's forehead. A young woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala and a man in a dark robe and garlands stand nearby. Another bare-chested man in a garland of pink and white flowers stands at left, and a further figure in a white dhoti and orange shawl stands behind. The dreadlocked man is an appearance-based candidate for a person, but the page does not indicate he is present and the cues are not sufficiently distinctive, so his identity is uncertain.

A naming ceremony photographed indoors with a baby in a blue and white outfit held by a man bare-chested with a pink and white flower garland, while a bearded man with long dreadlocks and a rust-red cloth wrapped at his waist, also wearing a pink and white flower garland, reaches to touch the infant. A woman in a green blouse and orange sari with a flower garland smiles and steadies the baby, and a woman in an orange sari with a red tilak and long braided hair leans in and holds a small red cloth. Two other women stand at the right in red and maroon saris, and a red-cushioned seat is visible at right. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall with orange and red fabric draped behind.

A photograph of a ritual scene indoors. On the left, a shaven-headed priest in a saffron-and-orange dhoti with a white flower garland and a sandalwood-marked forehead holds a small silver vessel and spoon toward a baby. A woman in a cream sari with a red blouse sits smiling and cradles the infant, who is being offered a sip from the vessel. Behind them, several women in orange and saffron saris with rudraksha malas stand watching, and a woman in white with a rudraksha mala and brown shawl stands near the center. A camera on a tripod and a cameraman appear at the right edge, and a man kneels at the lower right corner.

A naming ceremony (naamakaranam) at a temple setting. A bearded man with long dreadlocked hair, rust-red shawl and flower garland applies a marking to a baby's forehead while holding a small hand in a blue-and-white wrap. A smiling woman in an orange sari with a green blouse, pink and white garland and gold bangles holds the baby. Behind them, a young woman with long dreadlocks wears an orange sari and rudraksha beads and holds a small red tray. A bare-chested man in white dhoti with a garland stands at the back, and a man with large earrings and a pink-and-white garland faces the scene in the foreground. Rudra abhishekam-style ritual setting with flowers and a red-and-white backdrop.

A seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair and a red-and-white flower garland places his right hand on the head of a young girl in a white top with pink ruffles, who is held by a woman in a cream and gold sari with a red border. The woman bows her head; a gold bangle and beaded bracelets are visible on her wrists. Behind them a standing woman in orange clothing with a yellow border stands near a red curtain. The seated man, with long swept-back hair and a long red and white garland, is a person in a blessing role, giving a blessing to the child. Small offerings sit on a tray in the foreground.

A photograph inside a decorated home shrine room during a house visit. A woman in a purple and blue silk sari with gold jewellery and a beaded necklace holds a small baby in a red and white outfit, and reaches toward a figure in a red-orange robe with a large rudraksha mala and gold bangles who extends a hand to the baby. A man in a white shirt with a white flower garland stands behind, and a young person in orange-saffron robes stands at the back. Two other saffron-robed attendants and a cameraman with a camera are visible, and an orange-clad figure is seen at the right. Orange flower garlands and a lit oil lamp are visible in the background.
