Sunlight bursts through the trees above, creating a bright lens flare. Many people sit on a concrete floor scattered with flower petals, offerings and small packets. Several men wear white kurtas and pale shirts; one woman in a red sari sits at left, and a bald man in white sits near the front. Two large yellow banners on the shrine front show printed portraits of a bearded saint in orange and Hindu deity imagery, but these are printed images, not people present. A man in a white kurta stands near the right, and a small white air conditioner unit sits beside the building.2015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27A photograph of a shrine with a barred metal grille and a red curtain behind it, where a deity murti and offerings sit inside a small chamber. In the foreground, a bald man in a flowing orange robe with a torn edge stands with his back to the camera, facing the shrine beside a red-speckled pillar. A reddish wooden door sits to the left against a yellow wall, and an orange cloth bag lies on the floor at the bottom edge with a person's head partly visible.2014-03-14A photograph inside a bright hall with a red-and-white wall and a hanging chain. In the foreground, a seated elderly man in a grey knit cap and white shawl sits at a low table with two large steel pots of grains or rice. A younger man in a red sweater and white dhoti stands at the right, touching the pot. Behind the metal railing, a man in white kurta and red shawl with dark sunglasses and a white cap stands with hands in anjali mudra, next to a woman in orange and white saree with red shawl, also in anjali. Devotees in orange and red shawls stand around them with hands folded. Ceiling fan and green leafy decorations are visible above.2014-03-14May 04 20152015-05-04Crowded outdoor scene at a religious gathering. In the foreground, an older bearded man in a white kurta and dhoti with an orange turban and red-patterned shirt holds a walking stick and a small steel pot. Beside him, a man in a red and orange patterned shawl and orange garment stands, while a man in a yellow jacket and a man in a lavender scarf stand at left. On the right, a bare-chested man wears a white dhoti and sash. Behind them, a shaved-headed man in white ritual cloth and devotees in orange, red and blue saris and turbans gather before a dark shrine tent with a deity murti and orange banners. Printed banners on the left show figures and text. Roughly 21-100 people are visible.2013-02-08October 27 20152015-10-27Outdoors on a covered temple veranda with pink pillars and red-and-yellow painted walls. A seated woman in orange sits on the tiled floor with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside her, a standing elderly man in cream dhoti and head wrap holds a long orange cloth or flag. Behind them, devotees in orange shawls and saffron-coloured clothing sit in a row, including a woman in a light blue headscarf and an older woman in pink.
