A smiling man with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, orange-red robe, long gold-beaded necklace and orange rudraksha-style mala, and orange bangles stands at right, placing his hand on the head of a young fair-haired man in a blue shirt. Several other devotees stand behind in white and mixed clothing; a man at left in white shirt holds his hands in anjali. The man in orange-red with the long swept-back hair and gold necklace is a person by appearance, serving as the one giving blessings.2013-03-29March 27 20132013-03-27March 29 20132013-03-29April 15 20182018-04-15November 14 20102010-11-14A photograph of a devotee event in a decorated hall with draped white fabric and colourful striped pillars. In the foreground, a man in a red-orange saffron robe with ornate gold necklaces and rudraksha bracelets smiles while placing his right hand on the head of a young man in a white shirt who bows with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside them, a man in white shirt and a man in a blue-green polo stand with hands folded in prayer. Behind them, more devotees, several in white clothing, stand along a metal barrier. A person in saffron-orange robe with a tilaka-marked forehead and ornate necklace appears to be the central figure, with long swept-back hair and a crown-like headpiece, a person by visible adornments and robe, though the image does not confirm identity. A screen with a portrait is visible at the top.2013-02-03A photograph of a smiling man in a maroon-red sannyasi robe with an orange-gold border, wearing a white flower garland with orange and red blossoms and a long ornate gold-bead necklace with a rudraksha-style pendant, standing with bare upper arm and red-orange bangles. He reaches out and places his hand on the head of a younger man in a white shirt whose hands are pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered. Behind them other men in white dhotis and white shirts stand under a draped white and cream ceiling canopy with decorated pillars; a woman in a dark kurta stands at right, and a projector screen shows a colourful deity image. The scene reads as a blessing or initiation moment.2013-04-06 +1 copiesA photograph of a blessing scene in a hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange-red wrap, gold necklaces and gold armlets, raises his right hand in blessing over an older bald man in a white shirt who joins his palms in greeting. A second older man in white with a red shawl bows forward beside him. Behind them a shaved-headed attendant in an orange robe and white forehead markings stands near a gold-and-brass shrine. A projector screen showing a deity image and a red-and-gold cloth hanging are visible in the background, along with a few standing people in white and orange clothing.2013-03-27April 07 20132013-04-07September 05 20122012-09-05
