Behind them on a red-and-white platform stands a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" showing a smiling figure in a white turban, purple robe and layered beaded garlands. A small boy in a brown outfit sits at the right edge. Yellow floor markings are visible.2007-10-01October 09 20082008-10-09December 24 20092009-12-24Five boys in white traditional ritual clothing stand in a row with palms pressed together in anjali mudra before an ornate golden throne decorated with flower garlands. The boy second from left holds a microphone. Each boy wears a white dhoti or kurta with coloured borders, and some wear sacred threads and forehead markings. Behind them a framed portrait shows a smiling man with long dark hair and white garments, set among marigold garlands and a red cushion on the golden seat.
