Its back is draped with a red and gold cloth edged with bells, a garland of yellow marigolds hangs around its neck, and a yellow turmeric or kumkum mark is on its forehead with pink ornaments on its horns. A white rope leash runs from its halter to the concrete feeding trough at right. No people are visible.2008-01-16January 15 20132013-01-15Close view of a black-and-white cow with a white blaze on its forehead, its head lowered and wearing a garland of white jasmine-type flowers with red roses tied around its neck. A red kumkum mark is applied to the forehead. A rope leads from its head, held by a person in orange robes visible at the right edge. The ground is pale sandy earth. This is a ritual setting consistent with a cow being honoured during a puja. No people are fully visible beyond the orange-robed arm and garment.2007-10-08Close-up photograph of a black cow's head adorned for worship. Yellow marigold and red rose garlands drape around its neck and horns, which are painted bright red. Orange and red kumkum or turmeric marks streak across its forehead and face. A human hand in a white sleeve with an orange thread at the wrist holds the rope halter. A rustic wooden post stands at right, and a bundled offering or cloth edge appears at lower left. No people's faces are visible.2013-01-15 +1 copiesMay 27 20132013-05-27October 08 20072007-10-08October 08 20072007-10-08October 08 20072007-10-08January 15 20182018-01-15 +2 copies
