Two large umbrellas with multicoloured fringed canopies are held over a central figure in an orange robe whose head is bowed as they greet a woman in an orange sari and a man in white. Behind them, a young attendant in orange stoles carries an offering tray, and a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with an orange shawl holds a silver vessel with flowers. Several men in white shirts and trousers stand nearby, and a uniformed police officer is visible in the background among other onlookers and tents.2007-08-09Outdoor procession on a dirt road beside trees and a fence hung with orange and pink pennant flags. Beside him a bald man in white dhoti and shirt wears an orange shawl and carries a silver tray holding a white-and-gold kalasha-style vessel decorated with flowers and red petals. Behind them, attendants in orange shawls walk, and two women in white saris with orange shawls hold up ornate red, orange and blue canopy umbrellas. Several men in white and in plain shirts stand watching on the roadside, and red cars are parked nearby.2007-08-09An outdoor procession in front of a white building with a tiled roof. Several people carry large ornate parasols with blue, orange and yellow panels, decorated with the printed word "NithyaPeetam" and a bird emblem, and long fringed tassels. A central man in a saffron-orange robe with a long gold pendant and an orange beaded necklace stands with his hands folded. Beside him, a man in orange robes holds a silver tray with a clear vessel of water, flowers and a green leaf sprig, and wears an orange garland. In front, a man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala walks barefoot beside a man in white with an orange shawl and beads, and a man in a yellow silk garment with red border and beads follows. Attendants in white kurtas hold the umbrellas and a white vehicle and silver SUV stand behind, with palms and trees beyond.2007-08-09December 20 20072007-12-20Outdoor procession on a dirt path at dusk with palm trees behind. A man in an orange turban and orange robe with a long gold-beaded necklace walks forward, hands gesturing; beside him, a man in saffron robes and a shaved head with a white tilak walks with a companion in orange. Men in white dhotis and white shirts carry silver trays of yellow marigold garlands and silver vessels, and an ornate ceremonial umbrella with fringe is held aloft. Someone in a white dhoti holds a red-and-gold shawl at right. The person in the orange turban is a person candidate by appearance (turban, saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace, long hair), though this is uncertain; the others are devotees and sannyasis.2006-01-01Outdoor procession on a dirt path under a canopy of decorated festival umbrellas with multicoloured tassels and blue, orange and green panels. A central figure with long dark curly hair wears a flowing saffron-orange robe and walks with hands clasped in front. Beside him a bald man in white dhoti and orange shawl carries a white ceremonial tray with flowers and a kalasha-like vessel. Around them men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing orange-and-gold rosette badges, walk alongside, with orange and red bunting strung behind. Swamiji (probable): the central figure in saffron robe has long dark hair and a clothing presentation consistent with the page's identification, so this is a probable in-person candidate, not a confirmed identity.2007-08-09December 25 20082008-12-25December 23 20082008-12-23August 09 20072007-08-09October 17 20102010-10-17November 16 20092009-11-16
