A large poster at the top shows a seated figure in orange robes with a long beaded necklace, its edges draped with orange and yellow marigold garlands. Below, a framed image shows a figure in white robes seated on an ornate silver throne with a red cushion. A smaller framed copy of the same throne image sits to its right, and a framed photo of a man in a yellow turban and blue ornate garment stands at the lower left. A framed orange-robed portrait is at the lower right, with a brass plate, a small white cup and a red-and-gold decorative arrangement on the floor. A date stamp reads 29 10 2006.2006-10-29October 25 20062006-10-25A shrine table draped in white holds a large framed portrait labelled "PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA" at centre. The portrait shows a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi, an orange robe and layered white flower-bead necklaces, seated in front of banyan roots with one hand raised in blessing. Flanking framed images show a figure in white with a halo and a goddess in pink and gold seated with a lotus. Brass oil lamps, a brass kalasha-style lamp and a small brass plate sit on the table, and white flower garlands are draped on the frames. Faded text on the wall and the portrait indicates the photo is from the archive.2009-07-14January 31 20092009-01-31A framed photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, seated in lotus position before a large banyan-type tree with exposed roots. He raises one hand in greeting and has a red bindi on his forehead. The framed picture hangs on a white wall, flanked by two tall brass oil lamps. To the left is a wall calendar showing a deity in yellow and a Tamil business advertisement, and a small framed photo sits at the lower centre. He wears a red tilak on his forehead and a blue-and-green accent on the garland, and he is seated on a white cloth. The framed print shows a smiling figure with long hair in saffron clothing and a white garland, seated in front of a large banyan-type root structure, with the printed caption 'Paramahamsa Nithyan...' visible on the frame. Behind him, a person in white with an orange shawl holds the frame, and another person in orange sits at the left edge. The seated man's appearance has several cues compatible with a person: long hair, saffron clothing and garland, though the wording of the caption is partial. Portrait and seated man are both visible.2007-02-24A small home shrine on a table against a white wall.
