In the centre, a woman in a white dress with a yellow shawl and a vermilion bindi holds a silver plate with an orange cloth and white cloth pieces, eyes closed and chanting. To the right, a woman in white-and-gold saree with a dark beaded mala and red bindi stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Other women in yellow shawls and white clothes hold orange-wrapped trays at left, and silver bowls of fruit including a red apple and offerings sit in the foreground. A man with a white shirt and gold chain stands at the upper right, near a microphone.2010-11-10A woman in a white and gold sari stands at a shrine table, reaching toward a brass plate and offerings. Behind her, a life-size cardboard-style cutout of a bearded man in an orange-and-red turban and saffron-red striped shawl, garlanded with yellow marigolds, stands beside the altar. The cutout is a depiction rather than a physical person, and the a person field reflects that uncertainty. The shrine holds a small deity murti in an alcove, lit oil lamps, a brass puja plate, a garland-decorated kalasha on a table and a yellow-flowered offering in a bowl. A wall sign reads KAILASA Selayang. Ornate gold-and-red decorations and a peacock-feather display appear at left.A woman in a red and gold sari with a white shawl pours liquid from a small copper vessel over small metal deity figures on a gold tray, arranged before a large framed portrait. The portrait shows a smiling bearded man in a red turban, decorated with a yellow and magenta flower garland and a large floral garland, seated on a throne. A gold ornate throne and a second figure in a teal and gold garment stand to the right, with pink flowers, red cloth and brass lamps on the altar. Two framed images show a tree-lined background above. The scene resembles an abhishekam offering to murti figures.2021-06-14Photo 11744454 +1 copiesSeptember 15 20112011-09-15Annadhan in 20112011-01-01 +1 copiesA life-size printed cutout or poster of a smiling figure in saffron-orange turban, ornate orange shawl with gold border, multiple white pearl and white-and-red flower garlands, and bangles, seated before a plain white wall. Three women in orange and pink saris stand before it; one in orange with hands joined in namaskar, another bending forward offering a gold thali with lamps, bananas, mango, rice, coconut, and small steel bowls of food, with a lit oil lamp and marigold garlands on the cloth. The scene suggests a devotional offering arranged for the figure, with no clear identification of the printed figure beyond its appearance.2022-06-19Photo 11744420 +1 copiesMarch 18 20172017-03-18 +1 copies
