The murti wears a tall crown-like headdress and a red-orange cloth draped over its torso and legs, with a yellow thread or garland across the chest. Red drapery and a green cloth hang in the background behind a gold-toned arch. A hand at upper left tips a golden vessel, pouring water over the murti's head, and white liquid runs down its face and shoulders. The murti's raised hand holds an object, and a red garment falls over its lap. The scene appears to be a temple puja at a shrine.2021-12-31KAILASA TORONTO, CANADA on 1/2/20222022-01-02 +1 copiesA dark stone murti of a multi-armed deity stands against a warm beige wall, draped in a red cloth with a gold-edged border and a yellow sacred thread across its chest. A person's bare arm, adorned with a thin gold bangle, pours liquid from a brass vessel over the deity's head, consistent with abhishekam. Water or milk trickles down the stone face and shoulders. The figure wears a tall cylindrical crown and raised hands hold ritual objects. No a person candidate is visible, only the statue and a single visible arm.2022-07-09 +1 copies
