The seated person wears a long garland of red roses, white flowers and rudraksha beads, a gold necklace, and a white tripundra mark on the forehead, and raises one hand holding a silver staff. Around them, devotees in white dhotis, orange and maroon robes, and orange shawls stand or kneel with palms joined. A kneeling man in white offers flowers and a small plate, while an older man in white bends forward in reverence. A man in white holds a camera. Marigold and white flower petals lie on a striped mat in the foreground. Appearance suggests a person in the seated role, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2014-06-27September 16 20132013-09-16November 11 20132013-11-11A photo inside a small home room during a house visit. A woman in a rust-red sari with a gold border and rudraksha mala stands at left, and a woman in a teal sari holds a toddler beside a man in a striped shirt. At centre-right a woman in a red-orange saree with a white flower garland kneels with a brass vessel, and a man in white kneels beside her. On the right a seated sannyasi in orange-brown robes wears a multicolour marigold garland and holds a tall silver trident. Other saffron-clad sannyasis with rudraksha malas stand behind, one holding a camera, and a man in white stands at back. Walls are cream with floral borders.2014-06-27A seated figure on a red throne in a plain room receives a pada puja. The right-side figure, bare-chested with a red-orange cloth, long swept-back dark hair, a white jasmine and red flower garland, gold armbands and a silver staff-like rod, is seated on a red-upholstered chair; these appearance cues are distinctive but a face-based identification is not made, so the a person field is unsure. A seated man in a white sleeveless top with a rudraksha mala and orange-red shawl, and a shaved-headed young man in orange robes with a mala, sit on a striped colourful mat, handling flowers. A woman in a white sari with gold border and gold jewellery holds flower petals. Standing behind are men in white dhotis and orange robes, and onlookers including a woman in a blue sari and children. Rose petals and flower offerings are scattered on the mat.2014-07-01A photograph of a home interior during a pada puja at a devotee's house. A figure seated on a red-cushioned chair at right wears a saffron wrap, a white flower garland, red floral garland, gold bangle on the upper arm, and holds a tall ceremonial staff with a round top. Three seated and standing devotees face them: a man in a white sleeveless top and saffron cloth kneels with a metal plate, a woman in a white sari with gold border presses her palms together, and a shaved-headed young man in orange robes and rudraksha mala sits nearby. Standing onlookers in white dhotis, orange robes and colourful saris fill the room, with framed photographs on the wall behind and an open doorway.2014-07-01A photograph of a padapuja at a home in Coimbatore. A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange garment and a fresh white and red flower garland sits on a silver-framed chair, raising a hand near a silver ceremonial staff. Before the chair, a devotee couple sits on a patterned mat: the man in a white shirt with red suspenders, the woman in a white sari with pink border holding a lit oil lamp and offering flowers. Saffron-robed monastics with rudraksha malas sit behind them, and standing onlookers in white dhotis and shirts watch, one holding a camera, while a man in a red-scarved white kurta sits in the lower right with hands folded.2014-06-21 +1 copies
