A diamond-studded ornament with a tilaka-like motif sits on the figure's brow, and a bejewelled gold-and-silver band with a jewelled central motif wraps the form beside a purple cloth. A human hand adorned with gold bangles reaches up to the hoods. The image appears as a photo of a temple idol with a golden hooded backdrop, with no visible people.2016-10-26 +1 copiesClose photograph of a deity murti decorated for worship. The face is hidden beneath an orange and gold silk cloth, with a white and gold garment and a jewelled diamond-studded collar. Thick garlands of pink rose petals drape around the figure, and yellow and purple marigold garlands lie at the bottom. Above the head rises a golden multi-hooded serpent canopy set with green and blue gem pendants. Yellow silk hangs in the background, and carved stone pillars stand to the right. The image is a photograph of a statue rather than a living person, so no physical person is visible.2010-08-09
