A seated figure on an ornate silver-framed red velvet throne wears a rust-red robe and receives a garland of green leaves, yellow and orange marigolds, with a rudraksha-style necklace visible. Around him, several people crowd in: a woman in a rust-red sari with a gold border and a dark rudraksha mala smiles and stands with her hands clasped; a man in white dhoti with a bare upper body and folded hands stands at left; and heads of other devotees in white are seen in the foreground. The seated figure's face is partly lowered and not clearly visible. The throne presence and garland suggest honour being given, but the appearance cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2017-07-23A photograph inside a temple hall during a Guru Purnima satsang. A man with shoulder-length dark hair, bare-chested except for a red-and-white rudraksha-style mala and a thick garland of white and green flowers, sits on a gilded golden throne decorated with a lion-head armrest and a large floral arrangement of yellow, red and white blooms behind him. A microphone stand is at his side. Around him, devotees press forward, many women in white saris and white blouses with red and orange malas, some folding hands or offering flowers, while a shaven-headed priest in a white dhoti with a golden-yellow shawl stands at left. A woman in an orange-and-cream sari and a smaller girl are visible among the crowd, and ornate golden carved pillars frame the background.2015-07-31July 23 20172017-07-23December 22 20152015-12-22July 31 20152015-07-31A photograph of a room lined with bookshelves where a life-size cutout poster of a smiling, bearded figure seated in meditation is held upright by a man in a white shirt. The cutout wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a saffron turban with a gold ornament, a yellow-gold beaded mala and gold pendants, and bangles on the wrists. In front, a man in a white shirt presses his palms together in namaste. Behind, a bare-chested elderly man with white hair and rudraksha malas stands holding a small bowl. On the left, an elderly man in a green striped sweater with a rudraksha mala sits beside a table. On the right, a woman in a maroon top wears a mala, and a partially visible person in orange clothing stands at the edge. A green leaf offering sits at the bottom right.2017-07-23July 03 20142014-07-03August 13 20172017-08-13 +1 copiesA photograph of a devotional gathering indoors among bookshelves.
