A seated older woman in a pale green sari and gold border presses her palms together in namaskar, while a woman in orange and white sits in the foreground. The room has pillars, ceiling fans and stacked mats along the wall.2012-09-20A dense crowd of mostly women seated closely together at a satsang or devotional gathering. Many wear white or pastel saris and sarees with gold necklaces and bangles, and several have red kumkum or vibhuti marks on their foreheads. Some hold small cards or a booklet, and a few smile or sing with eyes closed. Behind them, gold-toned temple ornamentation is visible. The attendee badges pinned to several saris suggest an organized program, but no speaker is visible in the frame.2014-08-24 +1 copiesA seated audience of many women fills rows of chairs in an ornate hall with red curtains and gold-framed throne-like seats. Most wear white or cream saris and salwar kameez with small name badges; some wear pink, red, purple and teal. Two gold parasols stand near the front. Behind the audience, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a red headpiece and a long rudraksha-style necklace raises a hand toward the crowd, seated on a red-cushioned throne beneath a large gilded arch. Another figure in red headwear stands at the left edge, near a second gold throne-like seat.2015-04-23
