Before him, a kneeling couple in white clothes with a gold-bordered sari and white garment receives a flame from a brass plate of camphor or oil lamp held by a shaved-headed attendant in orange and a rudraksha mala. Other shaved-headed attendants in orange and saffron stand nearby, a man in white with a camera watches, and devotees in white shirts with folded hands and a woman in a pink sari stand along the room. Flower petals are scattered on the floor, and the room has pink walls and marigold garlands. A seated man on the lower right holds his hands in anjali. A seated figure in the throne with long hair and a crown-like garland is identified by the page as Swamiji; the appearance cues are a long swept-back hairstyle, saffron clothing, a garland and gold necklaces, so the identification is probable.2014-06-21 +1 copiesAugust 20 20142014-08-20 +1 copiesIndoor photo of a ritual in a home: a seated man in a rust-orange dhoti with a white and red floral garland and a long silver trident (trishul) held upright before him, his forehead marked with white ash.
