June 01 20142014-06-01June 01 20142014-06-01A photograph of a padapuja-style honouring in an orange-and-gold stage setting with arched cutouts and a red velvet throne. A seated man in a maroon-and-orange dhoti-style garment with a saffron shawl, a pink-and-gold turban, and a long garland of orange and yellow flowers receives offerings. A woman in a red-and-green sari and a gold-bordered shawl bends forward, while a woman in a gold saree with a white bag holds a silver plate of flowers. An older man in white ritual dress stands nearby. A man in white kneels at the right holding a tray of oranges, and a standing man in an orange robe is at the far right. Brass oil lamps and a red carpet are visible. Several figures are visible, including a child at left. The seated figure's identity is not established from appearance alone, so he is described by role.2014-06-01June 01 20142014-06-01A seated man in red and gold silk robes with a red and pink flower garland sits on a red velvet throne with an ornate silver frame, while a man in a white shirt and white dhoti bends forward, pressing his palm to the seated man's forehead and holding a brass tray of oranges. Behind them, saffron-clad young men in orange dhotis and rudraksha malas stand, a woman in a green sari watches, and a golden shrine or decorated idol is visible at left. The scene resembles a blessing or padapuja-style honouring at night under a tent-like canopy. The seated man's appearance does not clearly match the page's identification, so his role is given only as the honoured person on the throne.2017-09-17A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate brown leather throne receiving a offering from a kneeling woman in an orange and purple patterned sari. The seated person wears a red-maroon turban with a jewelled ornament, a white flower garland with a rudraksha mala, and a maroon robe with gold border, holding an open red book with pink-tinted pages. A kneeling woman in an orange sari with bangles presents or touches an apple-like fruit, while a man in white kurta with a rudraksha mala stands behind a silver tray piled with red apples. Further left, a standing person in white holds a printed image of a deity with a blue figure and red background, and another person in maroon with long rudraksha beads stands in the background. A red and gold patterned backdrop fills the scene. Swamiji (probable) is the seated throne figure, with cues of the red turban, ornate ornaments, garland and rudraksha beads; this matches a pada puja satsang setting.2014-09-07June 01 20142014-06-01A seated man in a rust-red robe with a white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala sits on a red chair on a striped floor mat, while a woman in a purple blouse and teal shawl offers red fruit to his feet in a pada puja. A small girl in a green dress with a flower in her hair sits beside her, and a man in a white vest with an orange-beaded mala leans in. Standing behind them, a man in an orange dhoti with rudraksha beads and several white-clad devotees watch with hands folded. The setting is a home interior with yellow walls.2014-07-01June 01 20142014-06-01October 12 20152015-10-12A seated man in orange robes with a saffron turban, long dark hair, a rudraksha-style beaded mala and a thick ceremonial gold necklace sits on an ornate golden throne with a deep maroon cushion, holding up a red fruit, apparently passing offerings to women. Around him, several women in orange and red saris, gold necklaces and jasmine-adorned hair kneel or stand closely, one woman in a white blouse with a red shawl and a white forehead mark sits before him. A woman in a bright green sari and a man in orange shawl sit to the right, with more red fruit visible in hands. Background shows brass lamps, golden deity ornaments and a red carpet. Appearance-based identification is probable: the seated man's orange turban, long hair, beaded mala and ceremonial necklace are consistent with a person as the presiding figure.2016-04-24A seated figure in a rust-red robe and matching turban sits on a red-cushioned throne-like seat with gold fittings, wearing a multi-coloured garland and gold necklace. Attendants in white dhoti-style clothing stand and kneel nearby; one kneeling man in white shirt hands the seated figure a red fruit, and another kneeling man in cream shirt bends low before them. A standing man in white holds a tray-like offering, and a figure in saffron-orange robe and orange turban stands at right with rudraksha beads. A white canopy and an ornate golden deity shrine form the backdrop, with a golden kalasha-style finial above the seat. Another figure seated behind wears a red-and-green garland, and a few devotees are visible at the edges.2015-01-13
