Behind him, another person in white clothing stands near a stage backdrop with dark curtains, a tripod, and a small white speaker. On the right, a tan upholstered chair sits beside a white side table with a flower vase, and several black bags are placed on a raised white platform. The man in orange has long hair and is barefoot. Printed copyright text appears in the lower right corner.2010-09-03December 07 20132013-12-07 +1 copiesPhotograph of a yoga session in a temple-style hall with red floor and colourful striped woven mats. Several participants in black athletic tops and dark shorts or trousers kneel and bend forward in a child's pose-style posture, foreheads near the mat, hands stretched out. Some wear white cords around their necks. A gold-coloured wristband is visible on one arm. Background shows blurred gold ornamentation and other participants in similar postures, with no clearly visible presiding figure.2016-12-17A photograph of a patterned carpet floor on a ship interior, with checkered grey, cream and orange tiles and a small orange mat. A pair of orange-strapped sandals sits on the floor. Two people are partly visible at the edges wearing saffron-orange robes, one with a garland of white and orange flowers draped down the front, with bare feet. A metal stair railing and wooden stairs appear at the top, and a striped cloth edge hangs at the left. Faces are not visible; only lower legs, feet and robes are shown.2012-12-10A photograph of a research setting under a red and pink draped tent backdrop. In the centre a seated man in a white shirt and dark trousers wears a grey EEG-style head cap, while another man in a white shirt adjusts or touches the cap on his head. Behind them, seated people on blue-and-white striped mats include a person in yellow clothing. On the right, a man in a blue patterned shirt and jeans films with a professional video camera, and another camera operator stands nearby. Cables and a microphone are visible. No appearance-based candidate for a person is clearly identifiable.2011-07-15Close photo of a person's hands wrapping white cloth strips around a bare foot resting on a grey concrete block on sandy ground. The person wears a black beaded bracelet and a blue checked garment. Scattered brick fragments and construction debris lie in the background, and a blue cable runs across the top. No ritual, deity or a person appearance is visible.2013-06-17Close-up photograph of a padapuja ritual: a pair of bare feet rests on an ornate gold-coloured metal tray with raised floral relief, while two hands, one resting on the tray and one holding a gold-coloured kalasha-style vessel, tend to them. A red and cream patterned cloth lies beneath, on a tan floor. The photo appears to show feet being honoured with ritual washing.2015-09-12A photograph of a metal casting workshop at an outdoor earthen site. A crucible glowing red-orange with molten metal sits on a clay and brick furnace, gripped by long tongs. Several workers stand around it, including a man in a blue-and-white checked lungi, and others hold open burlap sacks that frame the scene. Dirt ground, scattered charcoal and a metal rod support structure surround the furnace. Bare-footed workers and loose plaid cloth dominate the background. Visible people are workers only; no ceremony or a person candidate is present.
