An outdoor temple event under a striped canopy with orange, red and green fringed panels. A man in orange robes with long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and a gold ceremonial necklace smiles and gestures with his hand toward a bare-chested man with folded palms, gold armlets and a gold-bordered shawl over white dhoti. A woman in a teal sari with white flower garland in her hair stands at left with palms pressed together. Men in white and a bespectacled man in orange and a pendant watch nearby; a camera and microphone are at the right edge. Beside him, a bearded man in saffron robes, wearing glasses and a rudraksha mala, stands near a small red-petalled offering basket at the left edge. The men in the foreground are close to the camera; several other people stand in the background.2009-11-25A photograph at an outdoor event under white draped fabric and floral garlands. On the right, a long-haired figure in a red top with an orange cloth and a white-and-red flower garland stands beside a golden ceremonial vessel, leaning forward with a hand toward it. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and orange shawl with glasses and a red bindi smiles, his hand resting near a kneeling man in white who bows his head low. Behind them, a woman in a light blue and white shawl, another man in a white shirt, and other onlookers watch. A woman's dark hair is visible at the left edge. The tent décor and garlands suggest a ceremonial gathering.2009-07-07Outdoor photograph of a crowd gathered around a procession. Centre right, a long-haired man in saffron robes and a long gold bead necklace with gold pendant smiles while a bearded man in saffron stands bent forward, extending his hands with white ash for blessing. Behind them a bald man in saffron with gold beads holds a tall ceremonial pole topped by a decorated umbrella with colourful tassels. Around them devotees in white and orange cloth, some with rudraksha malas, and onlookers in white shirts and sunglasses fill the frame, with a patterned shade canopy overhead.2008-12-23Outdoor festival scene under an orange and red canopy with a geometric pattern and a border of multicolored triangular bunting. A central figure in an orange-red turban and orange-saffron robe wears layered rudraksha malas and a white and yellow flower garland, raising both hands in a greeting while smiling. Two young men in saffron robes and rudraksha malas stand to his right, one with a shaved head and the other with a sacred ash mark on the forehead. A woman in a blue sari and a woman in pink stand at left, with a few onlookers behind and a camera operator at lower right. A deity murti is not visible. The setting resembles a temple celebration with a decorated tent and devotees.2015-05-01November 24 20062006-11-24
