A seated man on an ornate silver throne draped in layered garlands of white, yellow, purple and red flowers, with a leopard-print cushion. He wears a rust-red robe, has long hair and a beard and a tilak on his forehead, and extends his right hand to bless the shaved head of a kneeling devotee in white clothes with a red-beaded mala. A second attendant in an orange-and-black cloth stands behind, and a figure in white at right holds a plate beside a brass lamp. The backdrop shows a glowing star-field and temple-like pattern. Garlands of white and red flowers hang above. Two men in saffron-orange robes and turbans stand at left and centre, one bending to attend the seated figure's feet. He wears a gold crown-like headpiece and gold necklaces and is smiling. Behind him a tall arch of red, yellow, green and white flower arrangements frames the throne. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti bows deeply toward him with hands folded at the throne's edge. To the left, a bearded man with bare upper body, rudraksha mala and saffron-and-white cloth stands near the throne. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure's crown, ornate gold jewellery, long garland and throne setting match the page's cues.2016-12-23A seated man in a maroon garment with a bare upper body, long dark hair, a white vibhuti marking and a tilak on his forehead, and a gold necklace, sits on an ornate throne covered in red, yellow, purple and white flower garlands, with a leopard-print cushion and a carved silver lion-head armrest. He rests one hand on the head of a young man in a white shirt and a red beaded necklace, who stands with palms pressed together in reverence. A woman in an orange saree stands behind them, and a large backdrop shows a lit temple-style pattern. Scene suggests a blessing during a puja or festival ceremony.2018-04-25April 17 20182018-04-17April 25 20182018-04-25February 13 20182018-02-13A photograph inside a decorated shrine-like setting. A bald man in white clothes kneels at the throne and reaches up with raised palms, touching the seated figure's head in blessing. To the right a young attendant in orange-red robes and a dark rudraksha mala stands beside a backdrop of a lit temple gopuram at night. A silver trident leans to the left of the throne and a ceiling air-conditioner is at the left edge. The seated figure's appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity.2018-04-25October 24 20152015-10-24A photograph of a bearded man with long dreadlocked hair and a white vibhuti line on his forehead, seated on an ornate silver throne with a leopard-print cushion. A man in a white kurta, with a sandalwood-marked forehead and a red garland at his neck, stands bowing with palms joined and presses his hand to the seated man's forehead. A silver trident stands beside the throne and a silver lamp stand is at right. Behind them is a backdrop of a temple tower lit at dusk. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, a shawl-like red-orange wrap and a ceremonial throne setting, which are the qualifying cues. The scene reads as a blessing given from the throne during a puja.2018-04-25
