October 19 20172017-10-19A photo of a shrine inside a temple at night, with a central murti of Shiva and a consort seated on a raised golden-trimmed pedestal under an arched niche. Both figures wear garlands of red and white flowers, and red velvet drapes frame the shrine. Above sit small white bull statues and painted deity panels. In the lower right, a single priest in orange saffron robes kneels or bends at the base of the shrine, tending the offerings.2017-10-19August 22 20172017-08-22Night photo inside a temple shrine with gold-framed arches and maroon drapes. Central deity murti shows a multi-armed Shiva form with a trident and a crown, garlanded in pink and yellow flowers, flanked by a figure in blue with a tall crown and a woman-like figure in purple with garlands. Two more standing statues stand at the sides, one in a red turban holding a lamp stand. A saffron-robed priest with a shaved head performs worship at the base of the central murti. In the foreground, a seated man in a red-and-white seat wears a gold-and-red beaded necklace, with a small bell-like lamp stand nearby. Brass oil lamps stand at the edges.2017-09-17January 21 20132013-01-21March 02 20182018-03-02May 30 20182018-05-30August 05 20102010-08-05January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA person in a rust-red sannyasi-style cloth with a red garland stands with back to the camera at the base of a stone shrine, facing a richly decorated deity group under a gilded arch with a turquoise backdrop. Central figures include a seated deity with garlands and a crown, flanked by standing statues wearing red and white garments and flower garlands. Brass oil lamps stand on the stone platform before the murtis, and a red velvet curtain hangs to the right. The scene is a temple darshan or puja setting with murti statues rather than living figures.2016-01-24A temple shrine with a central golden-framed niche holding a deity murti of a seated goddess with a red crown and crescent-moon ornament, garlanded with white and yellow flowers and a gold kalasha-like base in front. Flanking niches hold standing murtis: a figure in blue with a flower garland on the left and a figure in red with a garland on the right. Red draped curtains hang behind and beside the shrine. In front stands an empty ornate red-cushioned peetha/throne. On the right, two women in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha-style necklaces stand near the curtain, one gesturing toward the shrine. A camera tripod is visible at lower right.2017-10-01October 03 20082008-10-03
