In the foreground, a smiling man in a rust-red turban and sleeveless rust-red robe, with a gold necklace and rudraksha-style beads, holds white flower garlands and presses his palms together. A bald man in a white-and-gold dhoti with beaded garlands stands at left in the foreground, and a woman in orange robes with glasses stands beside him. Behind them, a uniformed police officer, a man in a white-and-gold dhoti with a garland, and a crowd of women in maroon and red saris wearing gold-bead garlands and sandalwood-marked foreheads are visible. The swami cues are not distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so the central figure is described by role only.
