A photograph of a shaved-headed man seated cross-legged in prayer with palms pressed together at the chest and eyes closed. He wears a rust-orange cloth wrapped over his shoulders with a gold-bordered dhoti, multiple rudraksha malas, and a heavy gold ornamental necklace with a central pendant. He has white horizontal tilak lines and a red dot on his forehead, and a small headset microphone is visible near his face. In the foreground are yellow cloth-covered items and a small oil lamp, with a brass lamp stand at the right edge against an orange wall. A bald, bare-chested older man sits cross-legged in an orange dhoti with gold borders, wearing a rudraksha mala across his chest and a rudraksha headband, with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and body. He pours liquid from a golden vessel. A second person in white stands at left, reaching toward the same ritual vessel. Behind them are a shrine with pink flower garlands, a golden deity murti, lit oil lamps and brass vessels on a granite platform. The pictured figure is not claimed as a specific person from appearance alone; the page title refers to an event with a person, but the candidate's appearance has only moderate cues.2012-06-05A photograph of a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes and a red-and-orange sash, with rudraksha malas around his neck and arms, seated on a white cloth during a ritual. He wears a maroon sleeveless robe with gold trim and multiple strands of orange and dark rudraksha malas around his neck, plus a rudraksha band on his upper arm and a ring on one finger. A second person in orange clothing is partly visible behind him. The setting appears to be a ritual, with the man reciting or chanting while offering petals. a person is identified by the distinctive rudraksha malas and saffron-maroon sannyasi robes shown in the photo, yet the shaved head and forehead marking do not clearly match long swept-back hair, so the appearance is uncertain.2013-04-04 +1 copiesAugust 02 20132013-08-02February 04 20132013-02-04
