September 11 20172017-09-11A large black stone Shiva lingam stands in a shallow pool of water, its base wrapped in a ring of marigold and multicoloured flower garlands with bands of orange, yellow, red, purple and white. Water pours over the lingam and flower petals scatter on its surface. A tiered stone stairway with a yellow marigold garland runs up to a raised platform on the right, where several saffron-robed monks and a person in a red sari with a garland stand. Behind them, a large seated crowd in white clothing fills the stone steps and a fenced audience area under purple canopies, with kalasha-style decorations and a colourful arch above. This appears to be a rudrabhishekam or abhishekam ceremony at an outdoor temple setting.2013-12-27A large black stone Shivalinga on a black yoni-pitha base stands in a shallow pool of water on red-brick steps, with a garland of red, yellow and white flowers draped over its top. Water streams down its face. Several saffron-robed sadhus and priests stand on a metal railing staircase beside it, one in white dhoti near the lower steps, and others in red and orange robes with rudraksha malas pour or offer at the linga. Red-brick building and trees form the background under an overcast sky, with more saffron-clad devotees on the steps.2013-06-03December 27 20162016-12-27September 11 20172017-09-11A large black Shiva lingam rises from a pool of water beside a red and white striped wall, with a rainbow arc in the spray of water. A golden palanquin with a gilded canopy sits on a raised platform in the water, decorated with orange and yellow marigold garlands and a red cushion. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand around it, one in saffron holding the canopy. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands near the lingam, and a man in saffron robes stands at its base. Many children in the water, some splashing and holding balloons and garlands. Orange pennants are strung across the background. The person in the centre, seated on the palanquin, is wearing orange robes and a garland and may be a person in a seated position, but that appearance is uncertain.2009-01-02Evening photograph of a large black stone Shivalinga on a circular yoni-pitha base, with water streaming down its surface from above. Garlands of marigolds and tricolour flower strings wrap the lingam and the base. In the right background, a seated figure in orange and red robes sits on a floral-decorated seat under an orange parasol, placed on a decorated platform in shallow water. Two attendants in white stand beside the platform. Behind them, a tiered wall of terracotta pots holds green plants, with trees and a dusk sky above. A metal staircase stands at the left edge.2011-07-16September 11 20172017-09-11December 27 20132013-12-27A large dark cylindrical lingam stands at right, draped with a garland of red, orange, yellow and white flowers and encircled by a silver-toned yoni-base band; water sprays over it during abhishekam. Above, on a raised platform with metal stairs and orange-and-yellow marigold garlands, a bald man in a red-brown dhoti and sacred thread stands beside a smiling person in a red-and-white garland and dark clothing holding a small vessel. Several other priests in red-brown robes stand on the stairs below. Red-tiled terrace with potted plants and a white wall behind.2016-12-27Large black stone Shivalinga at a sunken courtyard abhishekam site, with a tiered white metal staircase scaffold on the left. Several figures in orange and saffron robes stand on the upper platform and at the base; one seated figure sits at the top near the linga's crown. A marigold garland with red and yellow flowers drapes down the linga. Red-brick walls are lined with small lingas. A golden-framed seat with a red cushion, bearing a seated figure in red and white, sits at the right base beside a potted plant, and a golden arch frames the left. Several metal pots and vessels sit at the base for the abhishekam offerings.2017-09-11A large black stone linga stands on a black yoni-peetha base in an outdoor arena, with three gold-coloured decorative shoulder ornaments with red and green trim draped across its front. Behind it, rows of red stone seating form a stadium. Several men in white dhotis stand on a metal scaffold staircase at left, and one man in orange robes stands at the top platform at upper centre.
