A golden palanquin-style cart carrying a deity murti decorated with marigold garlands and colourful striped fabric canopy is pulled by men in white dhotis. A barefoot man in white with a rudraksha mala and orange shawl walks at the front, holding the cart rope. Other men in white and orange-trimmed attire follow, and a woman in a white sari with a yellow-green shawl stands at right among devotees. Pulling a cart with a golden deity murti under a canopy at night is a procession. The front man's appearance is not distinctive enough to establish a person's presence.2010-11-20A night procession on a gravel path lit by torchlight. At the centre, a figure in a plain maroon-brown robe wears a long blue and red flower garland and walks with head bowed. A man in white dhoti with a red sash and beaded necklaces stands at left with hands folded in namaskar, and a torch-bearer in brown dhoti holds a light at right. Onlookers in white and red stand along both sides of the path.2016-02-17 +1 copiesFebruary 12 20132013-02-12February 17 20162016-02-17 +1 copiesNight procession on a gravel road, lit by a bright floodlight at left. A brightly illuminated palanquin or ratha decorated with strings of lights, pink and white garlands, and hanging tassels is carried at the centre, with a dark ceremonial canopy above it. Lines of devotees line both sides of the road: women in orange and red saris, men in white dhotis and shirts, and people in white robes. Floodlights and a glowing lamp light the path. Some figures near the palanquin wear white and orange cloth; no figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2016-02-17 +1 copiesFebruary 17 20162016-02-17 +1 copies
