Outdoor photo of a crowd gathered on a dirt ground. A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange-red saffron robe and a long multicolour garland of white, pink, red and yellow flowers, standing with hands joined. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti bends at left, pouring or placing petals and flowers onto the ground in front of them. Around them devotees in white and orange-trimmed clothes clap and smile; a woman in a beige sari and another in white with gold bangles stand at right, and a photographer with a camera is visible at upper left.2009-07-10August 03 20092009-08-03A photograph of a walking procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees under a blue sky with clouds. At the centre, a person in orange robes wears a long garland of white flowers and red and yellow blooms draped around the neck. Around them, several men in saffron and orange robes walk with rudraksha malas, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti walks in front. Men in white dhotis and a figure holding a staff are also present, with an orange flag visible in the background near a vehicle.2012-01-02A dirt path lined with trees during a procession. At the centre, a long-haired young man in saffron robes walks barefoot, wearing a large fresh flower garland and rudraksha mala. Beside him, a saffron-clad attendant carries a tray of flower petals and walks in front of the central figure. Behind them, another saffron-robed man carries a ceremonial staff with a golden finial and a small drum, and a bald man in orange with rudraksha and a gold necklace walks nearby. Devotees in white clothes and white shirts stand along the path with hands folded in namaste and watch. Several other people in white and orange are visible in the background.2009-07-08 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a dusty dirt ground with trees and a bush behind a wire fence. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, walks barefoot and looks ahead; the appearance cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him a man in a white dhoti holds a tray of yellow flowers, and a woman in a blue sari carries a bag. Other devotees in white dhotis, shirts and a red-shirted boy stand around with hands folded, and a stone-coloured jacketed man stands at left. Several people are visible, roughly a dozen.2011-12-09Outdoor photo on a dirt path beside a whitewashed wall and green trees. A man with white hair and white dhoti, bare-chested with a white cloth at his waist, holds a lit flame on a brass plate toward a younger man. That younger man has long dark hair, wears a saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala, and is garlanded with a long white and red flower garland. He smiles. Around them, people in white dhotis and saffron-orange shawls stand close, with children watching at left and a person holding a brass tray above the crowd at upper right. A probable Swamiji cue is his long hair and saffron robe with rudraksha mala, in the role of the garlanded man receiving aarti. The crowd is roughly fifteen to twenty people.2008-08-02December 30 20062006-12-30July 03 20122012-07-03A photograph of a procession under a covered shed with a fringed canopy umbrella in white and red overhead. A man in the centre wears a saffron-orange robe, a long white and red flower garland, rudraksha beads and a red tilak, with long swept-back hair; he walks forward with hands clasped, and the appearance is consistent with a person candidate but the cues are not strong enough to confirm. Men in white dhotis and shirts walk around him; one on the left carries a tray of flowers, and one on the right in white with a red and gold shawl holds a decorated basket with flowers. A young boy in a red checked shirt walks at the left, and devotees in white and saris follow behind with decorated umbrellas and drums visible at the right edge.2006-12-29August 02 20082008-08-02November 24 20062006-11-24June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copies
