Beyond it a crowd of white-clad devotees walks along a corridor toward a colourful gopuram tower. Near the railing, a person in saffron and orange robes with an orange headwrap walks in the procession, flanked by men in white dhotis and shirts, one holding a red-bordered cloth. Stone pillars and carved walls frame the scene.2006-09-24May 31 20122012-05-31November 25 20062006-11-25May 18 20122012-05-18August 06 20092009-08-06A photograph of a crowd walking through a stone temple colonnade with carved pillars and a dark doorway opening onto a distant courtyard. In the centre, a man in an orange turban and saffron robe, wearing a long garland of yellow and white flowers and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, walks with palms pressed together in greeting. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and white shirts, a woman in a blue sari with yellow blouse, and a bare-chested man in orange dhoti and bead mala move through the procession. Loudspeakers are mounted on the pillars. The visible people number more than twenty.2006-09-24May 07 20122012-05-07A photograph of a temple entrance with a large black stone Nandi bull statue in the right foreground, its head and horns prominent. Several people walk up and down stone steps: a man in an orange-saffron robe and orange turban stands near the centre, surrounded by men in white dhotis and shirts, some wearing green garlands. A woman in a lavender-purple sari with a braid and a child stand at the lower left, and a boy in grey shirt and green trousers walks on the steps. Carved stone pillars and a tiled-roof gateway frame the scene, with a thatched canopy overhead.2006-09-24May 31 20122012-05-31 +1 copies
