A photograph taken indoors in a plain room with white-painted block walls and a wooden door frame. In the foreground, a man with long curly black hair and a beard, seen from behind, wears a maroon silk-textured shirt. An older man with white hair and a white shirt stands at right with palms pressed together in namaskar, head slightly bowed. Behind him, a man in an orange-saffron robe stands smiling, and a bald man in a pale garment bends forward at left. A man in a white shirt stands at the far right edge, back to the camera.A grey-bearded man in a white collared shirt stands in profile with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, a gesture of greeting or prayer, with a small tilak mark on his forehead. Behind him two men in white kurta-style clothing stand with yellow shawls draped over their shoulders; the nearer one wears a rudraksha mala. The indoor hall has orange chairs and metal scaffolding visible in the background. No one in the scene is confidently identifiable as a person from appearance alone, so the central figure is described by role only.2010-08-05Photograph of a crowd in a plain whitewashed hall with an open doorway behind, showing a thatched roof and palm fronds outside. Three men stand in the foreground with palms pressed together in anjali greeting: the man on the left wears a white embroidered kurta with a dark bead mala, the man in the centre wears a white shirt with a dark mala and a blue name badge, and the man on the right wears a grey kurta with a blue badge and gold bracelets. At the far left edge, a bald man in an orange robe sits among others in orange clothing. Seated devotees fill the lower foreground.2009-06-21A photograph of a darshan moment. A shaved-headed man in a white shirt with grey hair and a moustache stands with palms pressed together in namaste, his forehead close to the head of a long-haired person in a saffron-orange sleeveless garment with a dark bun, who is leaning in toward him. Behind them a man in a white kurta with a yellow shawl and a rudraksha mala with a pendant stands at left, and a bald man in saffron robes with a red tilak and glasses stands at upper right. A red curtain hangs in the background and an orange-robed attendant stands near the wall. Several people are partially visible at left, and the scene shows the kind of individual blessing seen in mass darshan events.2010-01-31December 25 20062006-12-25Several men sit in a row in a meditation or satsang hall with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. The central man with grey hair, glasses and a moustache wears white clothes and an orange-red shawl. Beside him a man in similar white and red shawl also holds hands together, while a bald man in the right foreground bows his head. Blurred figures in white behind them suggest a larger seated gathering. A small purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner.2013-12-20February 24 20072007-02-24December 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesA night-time photograph of devotees with palms pressed together in namaskar during a gathering.
