A central figure in an orange-saffron robe with a bright orange-red turban, long dark hair, and a wooden rudraksha-style mala around the neck smiles while serving food from a steel vessel, wearing clear plastic gloves. Beside them, a young man with a shaved head wears an orange shawl and white clothing. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a pink and yellow flower garland and gold-bead necklaces stands at right, smiling, holding a small packet near steel bowls of food. Beside him, a white-bearded man in a peach shirt, several men, and a sadhu in saffron hold out steel plates to receive portions. Some men wear white dhotis, and one has white tripundra markings. Steel pots and bowls line the counter, with a few sweets on the plates.2011-09-09A man in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange turban stands at a steel kitchen counter in a commercial-style kitchen with pink tiled walls and a stainless steel range hood. He wears a long rudraksha mala around his neck, a red-brown tilak on his forehead, and clear plastic gloves, and he ladles food from a large steel pot into a container, smiling. Behind him, several people in white clothing and lanyards work with steel buckets and pots, including a woman in a cream sari with a red border and a red bindi. The setting suggests a communal meal service at an event. Appearance-based cues including the long swept hair, orange turban, saffron robe and rudraksha mala suggest Swamiji (probable) serving food as part of the annadan, though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2006-12-16
