He wears an orange sleeveless top, a deep orange-red dhoti or wrap, and a rudraksha-style mala around his neck. His hair is tied back, and he holds small red-orange flowers in both hands at chest height while looking down toward them, apparently offering them at the pillar. The pillar has relief carvings of a seated figure and foliage. A tall coconut palm fills the right side against a pale blue sky with scattered clouds.2010-10-18 +1 copiesLow-angle photo of a man in orange-saffron robes standing with palms pressed together in namaskar before an ornate wooden-and-copper pillar wrapped with an orange cord and carved with a seated figure in a niche. The person wears a garland of white flowers and red blooms around the neck. The pole's base and mid-section are decorated with garlands of marigolds and red flowers, and a pot-like copper base with carved reliefs sits at the bottom. Tall palm fronds frame the right side under a pale blue sky, with scattered petals drifting in the air.2006-12-23June 09 20092009-06-09Outdoors under a bright sky beside a tall palm tree, a man in an orange-saffron robe stands beside an ornate bronze-toned pillar with a carved shrine-like top and a broad carved base. He wears a white and red flower garland and an orange-and-gold ceremonial necklace, with long dark hair swept back, and he raises one hand toward the pillar in a gesture of blessing. Marigold and white flower garlands and red blossoms hang on the pillar, with palm fronds tucked near its top. A dark stone deity murti stands at the left edge beside foliage. The robe, garlands and carved pillar make this a ritual setting. Probable Swamiji appears in person, based on the long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold necklace.2010-02-12Outdoors under a pale blue sky with scattered clouds and tall palm trees, two people in saffron-orange robes stand beside an ornate copper-clad ritual pillar (dhwajastambha) wrapped with orange cord. The pillar has carved panels and a decorated base. The figure in the foreground, wearing a draped orange shawl over saffron robes, leans in and holds a golden bowl or plate toward the pillar, while a second person in orange with a beaded necklace stands behind, also holding a brass plate. A small brass tray sits at the foot of the pillar. This appears to be a dhwajarohanam flag-hoisting preparation with offerings.2010-10-18 +1 copiesJuly 26 20102010-07-26Outdoors beside a tall ornate copper-toned ritual pillar with a carved base and an ornamental shrine-like top. Appearance cues for the standing figure include long hair and orange clothing with garlands, but the face and hair are not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity.2010-02-12Low-angle outdoor photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes standing beside a tall copper-clad ritual pillar wrapped with orange and red cord. The pillar has carved panels, including a seated figure in relief. He holds pink flowers in his hands near his chest and wears a long rudraksha-style mala necklace. Tall coconut palms and a blue sky with scattered clouds fill the background. Appearance-based candidate, unconfirmed by face: the page indicates a person was present, but the visible cues (saffron robe, beaded mala, pillar setting) are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the person is described by role as a sannyasi holding flowers near a dhwajasthambham flagpost.2010-10-18 +2 copiesA photograph of a standing figure in a saffron-orange robe with a long swept-back dark hairstyle, wearing a garland of white flowers and red blossoms and a saffron-and-red garland around the neck.
