Several men wear white dhotis with gold borders and bare upper bodies marked with white ash stripes, plus rudraksha malas. A man in the centre wears glasses and holds an open book, while the man at right presses his palms together in anjali. Orange-robed devotees sit further back, and tall brass lamp stands line the room. No one in the frame is clearly identifiable as a person, so no candidate is recorded.2016-12-03A photograph of a large outdoor ritual gathering in which many devotees sit in rows with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. In the foreground a bare-chested man with white ash marks (vibhuti) across his chest and arms wears a red and green rudraksha mala and gold hoop earring, and he is seated with eyes closed. Beside him a woman in a blue and purple sari with gold border sits with hands folded, and behind them a bald man in white and orange clothing with glasses also joins his hands. Several more people in white and saffron clothes fill the background, and brass vessels and small offering items sit at the lower left. The scene suggests a Maheshwara Puja style ritual, though no a person is clearly identifiable.2016-12-18Photograph of men seated on the floor in a hall during a seated ritual, several bare-chested in white dhotis with white sacred-thread cords over their shoulders.
