He holds his palms together in prayer near small oil lamps and brass ritual vessels. Black stone lingams stand in rows around him, with incense smoke rising, and other saffron-clad participants sit behind him in an outdoor puja setting.2016-11-26 +1 copiesNovember 26 20162016-11-26 +1 copiesA young boy with shoulder-length dark hair stands in the foreground wearing an orange-saffron dhoti with gold border and bare chest, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace. White sacred ash marks are on his forehead and upper arm. He holds his hands in front of him in a mudra-like gesture. Behind him, a tiered red stone amphitheatre is filled with seated people in white and colourful clothing, with small black stone lingam-like shrines or pillars along the steps. The setting appears to be an outdoor ritual gathering. The boy's appearance does not clearly match the a person cues, so he is described by role only.2016-12-19Outdoor photo of a ritual on tiered red stone steps lined with dark grey stone pillars and shrine-like pedestals. In the foreground a young boy in orange and gold dhoti sits bare-chested, holding a small brass vessel and a metal lamp, with a brass pot and offerings at his feet. Behind him other boys, some bare-chested with white sacred ash marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas, sit on the steps, one holding a brass lamp. Adult devotees in orange and red saris and robes are seated further back among pillars, with small oil lamps glowing on the steps. The scene suggests a pooja or aarti with brass vessels and lamps; no a person figure is visible.2016-11-24A photograph of a temple ritual setting with rows of black stone shivalingams on red-tiled steps. Several young people in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged, their faces and arms marked with white vibhuti lines and wearing rudraksha malas. In the foreground a young woman with braided hair sits near small brass lamps, flowers and a plate of offerings. Behind them older men in white dhotis with gold borders and bare chests sit among brass vessels and pujaram items. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam at the lingams, with the pictured people seated in meditative stillness.2017-07-31 +1 copiesAugust 02 20172017-08-02July 17 20172017-07-17 +1 copiesNovember 26 20162016-11-26November 24 20162016-11-24
