A tall carved wooden flagstaff rises from an ornate stone-and-wood base against a partly cloudy blue sky, with coconut palms behind it. A figure in orange-red robes and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace stands on a red platform, hauling an orange rope that runs up to a small orange flag at the top of the pole. The scene appears to show a flag-raising at an ashram or temple grounds, with a second person partly visible at the right edge.
