A small bronze standing deity murti with a tall crown stands at centre, surrounded by smaller bronze figurines of seated and standing devotees and a dark stone shivalinga on a base. A tall silver vessel is at right, and a silver pouring rod or stand arches above the tray. Yellow flowers and green leaves lie at the lower left. At left, the wrist and gold bangles of a person are partly visible, the rest of the body out of frame. No full faces are visible. The blurred background shows a red screen.2013-08-19Close photo of a ritual abhishekam setup on a red and gold cloth. Hands wearing gold bangles hold a tall engraved silver vessel, pouring liquid down onto a small brass deity murti standing on a silver tray with miniature figures and a dark stone shivalinga-like piece. A silver-lidded bowl, an engraved silver pot and a brass oil lamp with a lit flame sit on the table, with red flower garlands at the edge. A green cloth hangs behind. No faces are visible; the person pouring is only partly seen by their hands.2013-08-19May 20 20132013-05-20Close photo of a ritual abhishekam being performed on a small deity murti placed on a tray atop an orange-and-red embroidered cloth.
