A large group of saffron-robed young boys and men sit cross-legged on the floor of a hall performing a ritual puja. Many have white forehead markings and rudraksha malas around their necks, and they sit before brass and silver plates, small oil lamps, kalasha-style vessels and bells. Some hold their hands together in prayer while others handle items on the trays. Behind them, a larger crowd of devotees in white clothes sits on the floor and in chairs near the back wall, with white curtains and a red curtain in the background. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so no candidate is marked.

Photograph of a seated ritual gathering in a hall with white floor tiles. Thirty-plus young boys and youths sit in rows wearing saffron-orange cloth and rudraksha malas, with white horizontal tilak marks on their foreheads. Several wear white-clad, bare-chested adult attendants in white dhotis with rudraksha malas. Brass puja vessels, small lamps and plates of offerings sit on metal trays in front of them, with a few small plantain or flower arrangements. Behind them, adult devotees in white, red and saffron clothing sit or stand, and an elderly man in white and an orange-clad man sit on the right. Pillars and a red curtain frame the background.

A large group of seated participants in orange and saffron dhotis and shawls fills a marble hall during a ritual. Many are bare-chested, some with white tripundra marks on their foreheads. Several hold brass lamps and small metal puja plates with flowers, lamps and offerings laid on mats. A man in white dhoti and shawl with rudraksha beads on his arm sits at left, and in the background a large portrait banner hangs near the top right corner. Brass lamp stands and kalasha-style vessels stand among the rows. The scene looks like a group puja or satsang, with devotees seated in a dense crowd of more than twenty people.
