Green stage lighting and a glowing green vertical light tube beside the screen. On the right, several people stand near a temple doorway, one in an orange saffron garment, others in red and yellow clothing, with small lamps and offerings visible at the lower right. The projected figure appears to be a devotee at a temple, not an identifiable physical person in the scene.2011-05-02Night outdoor photo of a crowd watching a large projection screen set up on a dirt ground beside trees. On the screen, a figure in an orange robe with an orange head wrap and beaded necklaces sits behind a microphone, with a partial cropped word visible in the background. Men in white shirts and light trousers stand in a line on the left, looking up at the screen, with a few heads visible in the lower right foreground. Bright floodlights and tall poles with orange flags frame the scene.2010-01-09April 17 20112011-04-17Night outdoor event on a dirt ground lit by floodlights. A large projection screen on a black frame shows a figure in saffron-orange robes with a red head covering and beaded mala necklaces, seated and speaking, with a green backdrop behind. Several men stand and kneel on the left and bottom edges watching the screen, wearing white shirts and trousers. Trees and tall poles with an orange flag line the scene, and a white sign with red lettering is visible at right. The projected figure appears on a screen rather than in person, and the visible appearance cues are saffron robes, a red head covering and mala beads, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance.2010-01-09April 17 20112011-04-17Night outdoor event on a grassy ground: a large crowd of devotees sits on the ground facing a decorated stage with a red and white canopy strung with garlands and a row of small round emblems. Up front, a large printed portrait shows a smiling man in an orange turban and orange robe beside a projection screen. The screen shows a figure in yellow and orange clothing seated in meditation on a decorated throne with a green arched backdrop. Bright floodlights illuminate the canopy; many devotees wear white clothing and sit in rows.2011-04-17December 29 20102010-12-29A night-time outdoor gathering on a grassy field where a large projection screen displays a bright image of a red and white structure. Dozens of people sit closely on the grass facing the screen, many in white clothing, some women in colourful sarees and head coverings. A smaller screen and a speaker stand are visible to the left, and trees form a dark backdrop. Plastic bottles and litter lie on the ground. The scene suggests a screening or public viewing session.2010-12-29
