A photograph of a procession at an outdoor ashram setting with an orange-walled building behind. In the foreground a long-haired man in a red saffron-toned robe with a red-and-blue-edged border wears a heavy gold bead necklace and a red bindi, holding a red pole with one hand and walking beside a multicoloured fringed umbrella held over him. Behind him men and women in white dhotis and white garments with red borders walk or stand with palms pressed together in anjali, and a man in a black shirt also joins hands. Onlookers in white and dark clothing line the path; a banana plant stands at the left and red flags are visible.
