In the centre, a smiling figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and a long beaded necklace of gold and orange beads, raising a white ceremonial staff or whisk overhead. Behind them, a man holds a framed photograph of a saffron-robed figure with a white beard, and other devotees in white kurtas and orange shawls follow. A man in a dark jacket carries a brown bag, and a photographer with a camera stands at the left edge. Marigold petals lie scattered at the foot of the tree.2006-01-05May 20 20122012-05-20 +1 copiesJuly 24 20122012-07-24A procession walks through a high-ceilinged hall with blue-painted walls, arched doorways and a polished grey floor. At centre, a man in saffron-orange robes wears a long orange-and-gold garland with rosette medallions, and his hands are pressed together. Beside him on the left, a bearded man in a tall saffron turban and saffron cloth carries a rudraksha mala. Another saffron-robed man walks on the left, and a saffron-clad attendant on the right carries a ceremonial object. Behind him, a shaved-headed man in a matching saffron robe with gold borders and mala beads walks with another saffron-clad man who has a red-brown border. Several people in white dhotis and shirts, one uniformed officer in dark uniform, and a man in a white shirt follow along.
